Default Max title difficulty for all campaigns

ok so I just got my People Know Me on my Ranger and it would have really helped if people would have told me what titles are the easiest and which ones are the hardest. Please feel free to contribute.

Ordered from Easiest to Hardest - descending

Legendary Skill Huter
» Elona
» Cantha
» Tyria

Legendary Cartographer
» Elona
» Tyria
» Cantha

Protector
Easiest: A tie between Tyria and Elona. Both of them, their bonuses/master's are easy but just take time, though both have a few hard ones.
Hardest: Cantha. COME ON! Mission ranking based on TIME?! Whose idea was THAT?!

Cartography
Easiest: Cantha
Medium: Elona
Hardest: Tyria (and yet somehow my ranger has 91% Tyria and 60% Elona, that makes him awesome in some horribly twisted way)

Skill Hunter
Easiest: Tyria
Medium: Cantha
Hardest: Elona

For this it obviously is based on how many elites there are in all, I find finishing one class's elites and then doing another to be the least boring. I've been working on Tyrian Skill Hunter on my ranger, he has all Prophecies and Core ranger skills, all Prophecies mesmer skills, etc.

Ask a dozen people and you will get a dozen different opinions on which titles are easier. For PKM I got:
  • Legendary Skill Hunter
  • Holy Lightbringer
  • Legendary Spearmarshall
  • Protect of Tyria
  • Protect of Canth
  • Protect of Elona
  • Legendary Delver

I just started working on Cartographer, and to me it is about as interesting as watching paint dry. I'm also working on Vanquisher at the same time.

I kinda agree that skill hunter titles aren't too hard to obtain. But...they sure cost a lot of money; something I don't think I'm gonna have enough, ever. (I'm not talking about using tomes here. The cost of the capture signets would be 100k+ already, no?)

I don't have any Cartography titles, even having been a runner (Droks, desert, whatever) during my early Guild Wars life, I still only got about 80% of Tyria.

As far as Skill Hunting is concerned, Tyria is boring, especially if you have to cap skills at the Ring of Fire, sometimes you will visit the same area over and over to cap just one elite.

Cantha was a breeze, the henchmen there are powerful, and paired with your heroes, you can pretty much c-space your way to the skill you need.

Elona is the hardest, especially if you have to cap skills from the realm of torment. Even with some of the better hero builds that I've used, it was quite difficult to get exactly what I needed. I would suggest that if you have access to consumables, that you should use those to ensure that you can get through the realm of torment all right. Look up on the wiki to see how far out you need to get the skill, to gauge whether you will need to use an expensive consumable or not.

At least in Cartography, you don't have to go through the Realm of Torment, so it can't be that bad. Tyria's is rough, due to the areas with the Mursaat (do Heroes ever get infused?), including Ring of Fire and the Southern Shiverpeaks.

I imagine that similarly going for the Master of the North title, that Cartography in EoTN is difficult, I had the most trouble with the Charr areas.

There are 291 elites, not counting EotN. You're probably looking at at least 280k on sigs alone.

Skill Hunter:
Cantha
Elona/Tyria-Due to Elona being long but easy(except a fow RoT ones) and Tyria having less elites but annoying random spawns.

Cartographer:
Cantha
Elona
Tyria

Protector:
Tyria
Cantha
Elona

Guardian:
Cantha
Elona
Tyria

Not got legendary vanquisher yet so can't comment on that.

Don't forget the skill points you will need to buy all those cap sigs. Although you will gain quite a bit of experience each time you cap an elite.

Yeah, that's the one problem with skill hunting. Thankfully I only do it casually and buy signets when I need them - I don't buy em en masse.

I'd reccomend you get Legendary Spearmarshal, Holy Lightbringer, and maybe max out one GW:EN reputation.

I have R5 Asura and R5 Deldrimor, I think I'm going to max out Deldrimor. Not that hard with some books and...

...SNOWMEN!

Cantha is easiest - par one area - you know which ^^
Elona - middle - hidden city / jokos only gave me a trouble rest pretty simple!
tyria - easily hardest - 4 man areas, pop-up touchers, Lornars / Dreadnaughs! need I say more?

i found Tyria the most troubling for elite skill hunter
the random spawns and enormous area's where you found enormous mobs of enemies
seriously i found Tyrian skill hunter the most troubling and irritating to get

Skill Hunter
-Cantha
-Elona
-Tyria

Tyria is so much harder than anything else. Anyone down Abbadon's Mouth for the rare spawns know what I mean. I had to run that mission over 20 times nearly all the way to end because of monsters such as Goss Darkweb.

Protector
-Tyria
-Elona
-Cantha

Cartographer
- Elona\Cantha\Tyria

I got mixed feelings about cartographer because Cantha isn't difficult, just annoying. What I mean is that you got up and down and its difficult to max it all since they're so many levels. Tyria and Elona is more of the same but Tyria is more open, but Tyria felt much larger than Elona.(see snake dance) So depending on what you want, no one of them is harder, Cantha and the whole Fort Aspenwood just adds the annoyance.

From my limited vanquishing and talking to others that sounds about right.

Skill hunting will probably take you longest in Tyria- quite a number of the bosses require a good bit of travel to reach. I thought Elona would be annoying capping in Torment, but you don't really have to go to far to find your targets. Cantha has a couple of real pains in the ass, but a lot of very easy caps to make up for it.

I agree with the vanquishing opinion above^.

Cartography- Cantha annoyed me the most with its tiny irritating corners.

I would have to say:
-Protectors
-Cartographers
-Skill Hunters
-Guardians
-Vanquishers

All in that order
.

While doing the vanquishing titles, you should also do the cartography titles. Since you'll be clearing the whole area anyways, it would be a good idea to kill two birds with one stone. Also, you can keep track of which areas you've fully discovered by whether or not you've vanquished them.

I think Cantha is the easiest. Only 13 missions, all of which can be mastered with plenty of time leftover with a group of henchmen. I really don't think any campaigns are difficult to protect, but if I had to choose, it would be Elona. Ruins of Morah is difficult to get masters if you don't have the right group/don't want to pay someone to run it for you.

Skill Hunter:
Easiest - Cantha
Med - Elona
Hardest - Tyria

*I didn't based the difficulty on ammount of cash needed.. rather I ordered them in the "pain in the ass" order.

Cartographer:
Easiest - Elona
Med - Tyria
Hardest - Cantha (trying to find certain areas, Jade Quarry and the "special" areas limited to alliances is a pain.

Protector:
Easiest - Tyria
Med - Cantha (the mobs are very weak and beating the missions very fast is no problem at all, for me anyway)
Hardest - Elona (some of the missions are very irritating with H/H... Jennur's Horde FTL)

Elona also boasts Gate of Madness and Dzagonur Bastion, which some people have a lot of trouble with, but certain Tyrian bonuses - Iron Mines, Aurora Glade, Dunes of Despair, and the incredibly slow Abaddon's Mouth - make me call it a tie between the two.

Skill capping is definitely hardest in Tyria (think Mineral Springs, Ring of Fire, and Maw the Mountain Heart) and easiest in Cantha (less professions and areas to worry about than in Elona).

Vanquishing is easiest in Cantha (fewer areas) and hardest in Tyria (more areas, need to change setups due to party size and available henchmen).

Cartography... it's tedious, and you have to love the game in order not to find it incredibly boring. I walked the edges of all Tyrian zones before Factions was released because I wanted to find (and reveal on my map) as much content as I could. Because I loved the game, the title was effectively "free" for me, and I got it the day it was introduced. Cantha, by comparison, was just a tedious pixel hunt, and I experienced nowhere near the same satisfaction from getting the Canthan cartography title (possibly because I had to resort to forum help for it). Elona I've been putting off - party because I want to vanquish first and then "clean up" the missing bits, party because I dread a repeat of Cantha. Anyway, in terms of map size, Cantha is definitely smaller, but the pixel hunt was incredibly annoying, so I'm going to guess Elona is actually easiest - less areas than Tyria, less pixel problems than Cantha. This is a guess, mind you.

First. SS/LB and ofc if you maxed some title with other chars like savior, lucky/unlucky

Then Prot tyr cantha and nf. then skill hunts.. after that you can do Vanguish + carto at same time.. then Guardian. there you go ~15maxed
